Leaving for Ibiza

We’re just about ready to leave for Ibiza. We all arrived on Wednesday and spent the last two days getting Wildling ready to go. Most of the projects we had arranged with Outremer to get done were complete, but there were still a few that hadn’t been done, so I was worried that we could leave on time.

I went to see Stephane Denner at Outremer first thing on Wednesday and within an hour he had all the people necessary onboard to finish off the repairs and tidy up properly after the boat show. I can’t thank Stephane enough for all his help since we took delivery of Wildling, Outremer is very fortunate to have him taking care of their customers.

We’re planning to get to Ibiza in 3 hops, first stop will be the Island of Menorca, which is about 300 miles sailing. There’s not a lot of wind so it will take 2 days or so to get there. After Menorca we will be stopping at the island of Mallorca and then over to Ibiza. I’ll post updates during the passage as usual as soon as I have connectivity.
