More progress this week on the interior furniture, wiring, helm stations and engine controls. The air conditioning is now installed and so is the forward crossbeam.
Starboard helm – Engine controls, compass, electric winch controls and steering wheel shaft are fitted. You can also see one of the stanchions for the lifelines and the top of the chainplate fitting on the right side of the photo.
Salon air conditioning installed and furniture being added
The port helm has a duplicate set of engine controls, so we can maneuver the boat from either helm station. We didn’t have this on our last boat, and at times it was challenging to dock safely.
