Lots more progress this week. The deck section has been prepared and lifted on to the hulls, ready to be bonded together. Wildling is really starting to look like a boat now! Thanks again Matthieu for these excellent photos.
All the edges of the deck section have been cleaned up after coming gout of the mold, and the window and hatch cutouts are done
Lifting the deck over the hulls
The deck is now in place on top of the hull section. In this picture, you can also see the saildrive legs under the transoms. These are the drive sections that connect the propellers to the engines.
Wildling is back inside her construction shed and starting to look like a real boat!
Awesome – you have to be thrilled with the progress
We’re really happy with everything so far. Even though François is in Miami for the boat show this weekend, we have been discussing construction details via email and finalizing a few things. The Outremer team is doing a great job of keeping on top of everything and keeping us well informed of the progress.
